For generations, our family has worked with leather — feeling the weight of a hide, reading its grain, knowing by touch alone whether it will age into something extraordinary. That knowledge doesn't come from a manual. It's passed down through hands, through workshops, through decades of quiet, patient craft in Pakistan's leather-making heartland.
Tanniq is what happens when that generational knowledge meets a simple, burning question: why should a genuinely great leather jacket be out of reach for most people?
We aren't a brand that buys finished products and puts a label on them. We are the makers. We select the hides ourselves — cowhide, sheepskin, lambskin, shearling — choosing only what meets our standards. We cut, stitch, and finish every jacket in-house, the same way our family always has, with the same obsessive attention to detail that makes the difference between a jacket you own for two years and one you keep for twenty.
