The Tanniq Sentinel: Heroic Heritage in Distressed Brown
The Sentinel is the jacket in our range that gets the most second glances. The distressed brown sheepskin, the shoulder epaulettes, the horizontal chest seams — it's a jacket with genuine presence, the kind that looks like it's already been somewhere.
The leather is premium sheepskin with a naturally distressed finish applied during tanning. This isn't artificial wear added for effect — it's a treatment that opens up the grain slightly, giving the hide a lived-in, weathered tone from day one while remaining soft and supple to the touch. The brown is warm and deep, somewhere between tan and dark chocolate depending on the light, and it will continue to develop character as you wear it.
What makes the Sentinel stand apart from our other cafe racer styles is the detailing. Shoulder epaulettes add structure and width across the top of the jacket, giving it a broad, commanding silhouette. The horizontal chest seams break up the body of the jacket in a way that looks intentional and military-inspired without being costume-like. The shirt-style collar sits flat and neat — smart enough to wear to dinner, rugged enough to wear on a bike.
Storage is generous for a jacket this sleek: four exterior pockets and two internal compartments, all well-positioned so they don't add bulk. The viscose lining is smooth against skin and makes the jacket easy to layer over lighter tops in spring and autumn.
Every stitch is done by hand at our workshop in Lahore. The epaulettes, the seaming, the pocket placement — none of that happens on an assembly line. It's the kind of detail work that shows up in person in a way photos don't fully capture.
The fit is tailored but not tight — structured through the shoulders, with a gentle taper toward the waist. True to size for most builds. If you have broad shoulders or plan to layer, go one size up.
