The Tanniq Rogue: A Masterclass in Darkened Patina
The Rogue is built around one idea — cowhide with a cafe racer cut and a finish that looks better every year.
Most cafe racer jackets come in smooth, uniform leather. The Rogue does something different. It's made from 100% premium cowhide with a hand-distressed rub-off finish — deep chocolate brown in the body of the jacket that lightens to a warmer mahogany tone at the edges, seams, and natural flex points. The effect is subtle but striking in person. No two jackets come out exactly the same because the distressing responds to the natural variations in each hide. What you get is a jacket that already looks like it has a history before you've even worn it.
Cowhide is the heaviest leather we work with, and the Rogue carries that weight well. It has a firm, protective feel that's reassuring without being stiff — the kind of substance that makes you feel like the jacket will outlast everything else in your wardrobe, because it genuinely will. Cowhide takes longer to break in than sheepskin but develops a deeper, more pronounced patina over time. Wear it for a year and it starts to feel like it was made for you specifically.
The silhouette is classic cafe racer — clean, waist-length, tailored without being restrictive. The shirt collar is one of the things that sets this jacket apart from more aggressive biker styles. It sits flat and neat, making the Rogue versatile enough to wear with a dress shirt or just a plain white t-shirt. Four pockets total: two zip pockets across the chest and two slanted hand-entry pockets at the waist. All sit flush into the body so they add storage without adding bulk.
The front closes with a heavy-duty industrial zip that runs smoothly and holds firm. Every panel, seam, and pocket is stitched by hand at our workshop in Lahore.
